Safari for the Soul (Lazarex Cancer Foundation Fundraiser) April 5, 2008

Join Lazarex Cancer Foundation for a great evening of unique African art and jewelry, delicious appetizers and samplings of local Sonoma wines.

Lazarex Cancer Foundation is a volunteer-run nonprofit that supports cancer patients who have been failed by conventional medicine. They provide financial assistance for, and access to, new and promising treatments. Safari for the Soul will take place at the Spirits in Stone warehouse, located at 21889 8th Street East in Sonoma. Guests will have access to an extensive collection of unusual and beautiful African art, jewelry and sculpture. 30% of the price of all art purchased during the evening will be donated to Lazarex Cancer Foundation, supporting their goal of Changing the Face of Cancer, One Life at a Time.

"The Safari for the Soul event will be an opportunity for us to share the artwork, jewelry and garden sculpture of Spirits in Stone with our Lazarex Cancer Foundation supporters," says Dana Dornsife, Lazarex Cancer Foundation president. "Much like Spirits in Stone is helping African artists today, Lazarex Cancer Foundation is helping cancer patients today and every day and we need the community's support to continue to help these patients have a much higher quality of life."

Lazarex Cancer Foundation provides access to revolutionary treatments, such as Rexin-G(TM), the first treatment the Foundation has endorsed. When given by intravenous infusions, Rexin-G(TM) has been shown to stop cancer growth with shrinkage and death of the cancer cells of solid tumors in humans - determined by CT scan and MRI - without eliciting the debilitating side effects that often accompany treatments such as chemotherapy. Rexin-G(TM) is approved in the Philippines for all solid mass tumors and here in the United States is in Phase 1/2 trials for sarcoma, pancreatic and breast cancers.
