Elgin Sacred Heart Catholic Church will host its annual Fiesta/Bazaar on Sunday, September 6, Labor Day weekend, at the Texas Lost Pines Rodeo Julius Marek Arena.

The events kick off at 8 a.m. at the Sacred Heart parish hall, where the Guadalupanas will be selling their delicious breakfast and lunch plates until 3 p.m.
Come enjoy homemade menudo, breakfast tacos/plates, tamales and much, much more. Bingo and a silent auction will also be held at the Sacred Heart parish hall from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The gates will open at 3 p.m. at the Texas Lost Pines Rodeo Arena. The cost will be $3 per adult; $2 for youth and five and under get in free.

Live music performances by Michael Salgado, Ideales, Caprichos and Masivo will entertain.

Good food will include fajita and bistek tacos, enchiladas, hamburgers, funnel cakes, sno-cones, hot dogs, sausage wraps, nachos, popcorn and pickles. Games will be laser tag, dunking booth, face painting, cake walk, football toss, lollipop pull, dart throw, water ball and tic-tac-toe.
The Country Store will also have some great deals. The queen/king coronation is set for 8:30 p.m.

Closed toe shoes are recommended and everyone is asked to bring lawn chairs. No outside food, drinks or ice chests are allowed. There will be plenty of ticket booths to purchase tickets for food, drink and game booths at the arena.
