Crosby Symphony Orchestra returns for its annual concert at Liverpool Philharmonic, this year featuring some of the grandest Russian music ever written. Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition (orch. Ravel) is paired with Shostakovich’s Jazz Suite no.2 and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, surely one of the most popular pieces in the classical repertoire.
