Hundreds of runners took part in last year’s event. After spending the minutes it took to complete the race, participants gathered in the Olde Town square where kids played in the fountain and adults snacked on food from area restaurants.

People donned costumes and some even brought their pets. Everyone had a great time.

This is a wonderful event for families and will help raise money for a much needed service for children.

Ralston House is a family-friendly site for Jefferson County law enforcement agencies and other health professionals to interview children who’ve been physically or sexually abused. Hundreds of children visit the site each year where they begin the healing process from these traumatic events.
