St. Louis, MO —ArtDimensions announces the opening of a new exhibit at the only Women’s Gallery downtown St Louis … Think Pink - an exhibit of art portraying the awareness of women, and breast cancer during breast cancer awareness month, through art. The visual art in the exhibit will be juried from work submitted by St. Louis area female artists. The work will be juried by the gallery director Angelia Young. The opening reception on June 13 will feature musicians, performing artists, spoken word artists and culinary delights as well.
DATES: Exhibit opens June 13, 2008 (reception 7-11pm) and continues through Aug 2 during gallery hours, Wed-Sat, noon-4pm.
PLACE: ArtDimensions’ 3rd Floor Gallery, 1214 Washington Ave. (enter through Mossa Contemporary Furniture Store and go to the 3rd floor). As of January 2008, ArtDimensions moved into the already established gallery space located on the 3rd floor above the longstanding, contemporary furniture store, Mossa, at 1214 Washington Avenue – right in the middle of all of the new downtown development. The 5000+ sf loft space provides a spectacular setting for the art and is conveniently located near many new restaurants, galleries and shops. ArtDimensions (a 501(c)-3 nonprofit arts organization) has been working hard for the past 7 years to unite St. Louis artists and art appreciators at events like this one.
