Since the '70s, Chast's frizzy-haired, frazzled characters have cornered the market on workday urban neurosis in hilarious cartoons like "Cab From Hell" (in which there is no sports-talk allowed) and "Sympathy Cards for Everyday Use" (which commiserate over such traumas as a botched Hamptons vacation).
