The Royal Society Prize for Science Books 2010 celebrates the best of 2009's new popular science writing. Six books have been selected for the shortlist by a panel of judges led by Maggie Philbin. Hear readings of short extracts from the six books, and join Maggie and shortlisted authors for a conversation about great science writing.

Admission free – no ticket or advance booking required. Doors will open at 5.45pm and seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
