Royal Canadian Navy ship HMCS Ville de Quebec in Milwaukee August 7, 2012

This summer, the Royal Canadian Navy, the US Navy, the US Coast Guard and other partners will be commemorating the bicentennial of the start of the War of 1812 and celebrate the subsequent 200 years of peace and friendship between Canada and the United States. The celebration includes a tour of Great Lakes ports including Milwaukee and Chicago. The HMCS Ville de Quebec will be in Milwaukee from August 8-13. The ship, along with the US Navy ships, is available for public visits from noon to 7 PM on most days that they are docked.
