Rose Fest October 3, 2009

Since its opening spring 2008, the Rose Garden has flourished and grown and is now in peak bloom. Enjoy informal tours of the Rose Garden featuring its more than 1,800 roses planted in a colorful scheme. A bench surrounded by roses will offer a “photo opportunity” for guests, and tables will be set up with rose blossoms in vases to allow “smellings”; fragrances can vary from lemony to musky to spicy. Guests will be able to sample rose-flavored gelato (while supplies last), learn to tango, and enjoy classical guitar music. Free with Garden admission
