What is ROOTS?

ROOTS is a Salvation Army event and community. In the UK, the ROOTS event is held every May bank holiday, in Southport, UK.

In 2006, there?ll be some big changes to our programmes, event layout and daily journey. This new-look ROOTS will be designed to equip you to bring radical change to a changing world.

Who?s it for?

ROOTS 06 is for anyone that?s passionate about the mission and role of The Salvation Army, within the calling of the broader Christian church.

It?s got something for all ages. We run special programmes for adults, youth/young adults and children. A full cr?che service is also provided.

If you are part of The Salvation Army, ROOTS is a great opportunity to go deeper, get resourced and get serious about mission in your local community.

If you have never been to a Salvation Army event before, and want to find out more about us, ROOTS is a wonderful introduction to the denomination and we?d love to meet you!
