Romantasy Cabaret Ports 'O Call April 24, 2010

ROMANTASY CABARETS Ports O Call, Its a 3-Hour Tour sets sail for the first fantastic voyage on Saturday, April 24th 2010 at Club Red located in Tempe at 2155 East University Drive. The doors open at 7:30 pm and the three-act show raises its curtains at 8:30pm.

Since 2007, the events director Lucy Morals has combined an ever-changing line up of singers, dancers, circus folk and carnies with her vintage approach to modern variety. The first two acts of the show typically offer a range of entertaining scenes and spoofs with act three presenting burlesque beauties who tease audiences till the shows sweet ending.

The 2010 season, with its around the world theme, encourages even audience members to participate by donning travel gear, resort wear or typical dress from their own favorite exotic destination. Those who arrive in costume receive free raffle tickets for chances to win prize bags stuffed with gifts from local merchants as well as fabulous glamour trinkets for the ladies. Additionally, raffle tickets will be sold for one dollar each with a portion of the proceeds to be donated to a local charity.

Romantasy Cabaret boasts a cast and crew of about forty of Phoenixs most flamboyant, naughty, funny and beautiful performers. Fans could witness a real-live voodoo dance in Haiti, a saucy French Can-Can at the Moulin Rouge and then Leprechauns running amok in Ireland!! A batch of new faces and skits will be aboard to join favorite returning acts this season.

While the nightclub doesnt have a menu available, attendees can nosh on various dogs and wieners for sale by www.djhotdogs.com just outside the clubs entrance. Pizza can also be ordered from a nearby delivery service (menus available at our hostess stand).

Topping it all off, show-goers will also be treated to an after party when cast and crew mingle with audience members for a meet and greet, photos, fun and dancing.

Ms. Morals urges advance purchase of tickets if patrons hope for a seat for the 3-hour plus show. Front row VIP and VIP Reserved seats sell out quickly. General Admission tickets are usually available through the night of the show.
