ROMANTASY CABARETS Speakeasy Sins, The Gin Joints a-Jumpin, will once again kick up its fringe dresses and T-strapped heels on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Club Red located in Tempe at 2155 East University Drive. The doors open at 7:30 pm and the three-act show raises its curtains at 8:30pm.

Since 2007, the events director Lucy Morals has combined an ever-changing line up of singers, dancers, circus folk and carnies with her vintage approach to modern variety. The first two acts of the show offer a wide range of entertaining scenes and spoofs with act three presenting burlesque beauties who bare almost all.

The 2009 season, with its Roaring Twenties theme encourages even audience members to participate by donning pearls and fringe or pin stripes and spats. A glance about the costumed audience hints that even those seated at the candlelit tables might somehow be part of the show. Those who arrive in costume receive free raffle tickets for chances to win prize bags with gifts from local merchants as well as fabulous glamour trinkets for the ladies. Additionally, raffle tickets will be sold for one dollar each as well as given away in a Sexy Scavenger Hunt game.

Romantasy Cabaret boasts a cast and crew of about thirty of Phoenixs most unusual, creative and even beautiful performers. Fans can enjoy or balk at freakish feats, barely-dressed beauties, and naughty humor. In addition to the large number of new exciting acts, featured returning artists and favorite acts make a comeback in this August show. The festivities for August 22 include homage to the shows director, Lucy Morals, as it is also her birthday. The show is definitely not for the faint of heart as bawdy jokes, adult language and partial nudity run amok in the evenings affair.

Show goers are also treated to a fun after party when cast and crew mingle with audience members for a meet and greet, photos, fun and dancing.

Ms. Morals urges advance purchase of tickets if patrons hope for a seat during this 3-hour plus show. Front row VIP and VIP Reserved seats sell out immediately. General Admission tickets are normally available through the night of the show.
