Save the Date Romanian Festival August 15-17, 2008

Romanian Festival in Cleveland
St. Mary Romanian Orthodox Cathedral, a mainstay of Cleveland's West Park community, will hold a widely-publicized Romanian Festival August 15-17, 2008 on the church grounds. Thousands of Clevelanders will have the unique chance to become immersed in Romanian culture without having to travel thousands of miles to the country itself. This, third edition of the Festival, will offer new points of attraction. Our guests will enjoy good food, live entertainment, pastries, boutiques and souvenirs, Romanian artifacts and much, much more.
Our Cathedral, founded in 1904, is the oldest Romanian Orthodox parish in the United States. On Cleveland's west side in the West Park community, it is well-known for its masterfully-executed mural icons, its ethnic museum, its traditional Christmas craft shows, and especially for the excellent meals served to the community throughout the year at its very popular fish fries, weddings, and other catered events.
