Roller Derby: Rocky Mountain Rollergirls vs. Pikes Peak Derby Dames March 3, 2007

THIS SATURDAY NIGHT: Rocky Mountain Rollergirls rumble back to the Bladium for 2007 season
March 3 bout, RMRG vs PPDDThe Rocky Mountain Rollergirls are whipping around the track and gearing up for the home opener bout of the 2007 season this weekend.

This Saturday, March 3,our two home teams, the Red Ridin' Hoods and the Sugar Kill Gang, will take on the Danger Dolls and the Candy Snipers of Colorado Springs' Pikes Peak Derby Dames in a round robin where the winner takes all.

This bout will have twice the teams, twice the skaters, and twice the action of a traditional game between two teams. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. at the Bladium Sports Club (2400 Central Park Blvd., Denver). Tickets are $13 presale, $15 at the door and are available online, at the Bladium, and at Twist & Shout (2508 E. Colfax, Denver). As always, kids 12 and under get in free

Denver DJ Michael Trundle will spin the rollergirls and the crowd into a frenzy and Royal Dead will play during halftime. The after party is at 3 Kings Tavern (60 S. Broadway), 21+, admission free with bout ticket.
