After receiving a Bachelor of Music from University of Miami, Roger Wilder continued to record and perform in South Florida, most notably in groups assembled to back Stanley Turrentine, Randy Brecker, Adam Nussbaum and Chris Potter. After a five-year stint in New York City teaching, performing and recording, Wilder settled in Kansas City three years ago and now performs with local musicians including Angela Hagenbach, Sons of Brasil, Dan Thomas, Chris Burnett Quartet and the Westport Art Ensemble.
