Detroit singer and songwriter Sixto Rodgriguez started in the late '60s, playing offbeat, soulful folk-rock that earned him comparisons to Bob Dylan and Love's Arthur Lee. But his career stalled when his record label ran into financial problems. Years later, Rodriguez became something of a cult hero in Australia and South Africa. Recently, two of his albums from the early '70s were reissued.
