Rockin' Vino Wine Train June 8, 2008

Imagine a leisurly train ride through the beautiful Texas countryside, sipping great wiine, with good friends and good food. Join us for a very special wine tasting event.

Vino 100 invites you to come aboard the Austin Steam Train Association's Bertram Flyer for a one of a kind wine tasting event. Take your seat in our private Vino 100 railcar, First Class Pullman, of course. We'll start off our trip with a Sparkling Wine toast, as the train leaves the station. Settle in, meet your fellow wine-enthusiasts, and enjoy the scenery. During the rest of your voyage, you'll be treated to a tasting of 5 wines (special selections) and a sampling of appetizers. Part way through the tasting, the train will make a brief stop at the historic 1912 rail station in Bertram. You have an opportunity to tour the station during a brief 20 minute stop. Then we'll reboard for the return trip and complete our tasting. Then enjoy a glass to sip for the remainder of the trip.
