Rockford Symphony Orchestra: Emily Bear Debuts With Mozart March 28, 2009

Spirited music abounds from youthful composers and a budding young performer. Rockford's piano prodigy Emily Bear makes her orchestral debut with Mozart's charming piano concerto. At seventeen, Bizet wrote his dashing Symphony in C, filled with delightful energy and engaging themes. Britten's Simple Symphony, based on themes he wrote as a child, is filled with whimsical and exciting movements such as Playful Pizzicato and Frolicsom Finale.
