Rocket to Mars - Grassroots Gathering Day October 17, 2007

Join us on October 17th as we build rocket ships to Mars. Retired science teacher Greg Lopatka will be presenting his Rocket to Mars program to us. In Rocket to Mars, we explore the principals of rocketry with demonstrations and slides. Mr Lopatka will end the program with a Rocket Launch in the parking lot.
Kids, make your own 2 Liter bottle rockets at home and bring them in the day of the gathering for a launch. Mr. Lopatka will give an Estes rocket kit (valued at $10) to the 2 best looking rockets.
