Cody Marks concert to benefit children with incarcerated parents
Entertainment companies support the worthy cause

Musician Cody Marks (www.codymarks.com) will rock The Mint (6010 W. Pico Blvd, 90035) on April 16th, doors open at 7:30pm, show starts at 8pm. All proceeds of the $15 entrance fee go towards the GET ON THE BUS charity, a non-profit organization that busses children to see their incarcerated parents on Mother's and Father's Day. Marks, whose style has been described as a blend of Janis Joplin and Johnny Cash, has performed across the country including to thousands of inmates at the Sierra Conservation Center in Northern California. She is currently is preparing to perform for the Armed Forces in the Middle East this coming Fall.

Individuals and businesses are encouraged to donate and/or contribute their time to Get on the Bus. Companies such as Atlas Entertainment, film producers of The International and The Dark Knight, and Mosaic Media Group, a film production company and talent management firm that reps the talent of Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey, Kristin Davis, and others, are sponsoring a bus that will take six families to Chowchilla, CA to see their mothers on Sunday, May 10th. The children are provided meals, comfort bags, a photo of themselves with their mother, and a teddy bear with a special message from their mother all at no cost to their families.
