Attention Volunteers! We need your help to restore Natural Areas in Miami-Dade County! You can get involved by joining one of our workdays scheduled from October through April. Together, we will help protect and restore our rare native habitats by removing exotic vegetation, restoring native vegetation, enhancing trails, and conducting clean-up activities. Volunteers are taught to identify various invasive non-native plants while gaining a greater understanding of the local habitats and rare ecosystems unique to South Florida. Now more than ever, The Parks & Recreation Natural Areas Management Division and the Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) Program need your support to restore and maintain our natural areas. With your help we can accomplish this important task!
