Rock for the Cure August 21, 2005

Performing will be Robb Benson, known for his work with Dear John Letters; Jen Wood, who was featured on the Postal Service's recent album; up and coming band Sunmay, who recently performed an in studio at KEXP; Zadok, the lead singer of local band Mercir; Tara Ward, member of Bellingham band Late Tuesday; and Alicia Dara, founder of Electric Ladyland.

The Rock for the Cure is a night where we celebrate the lives of the many men and women who are currently fighting breast cancer and honoring the way too many lives lost. This special evening will feature some of Seattle's best singers and musicians, all generously donating their time and immense talent for this great cause. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.
