Robert Lockwood was one of the last surviving roots bluesman of the 20th century. He learned his blues first-hand from an unimpeachable source: the immortal Robert Johnson. Lockwood's bandmates, fronted by Sunny Monday, now carry on the tradition for him after his passing in 2006.
