Robert LePage: La Damnation de Faust November 6, 2008

This fall, the visionary Quebecois director Robert Lepage will apply his unparalleled artistry to the Metropolitan Opera`s season, specifically to Berlioz`s La Damnation de Faust, a searing contemplation of good and evil. Using projections and his trademark theatricality, Lepage has created a vision for the opera that seamlessly marries art and technology. Marcello Giordani will star in the title role opposite Susan Graham as Marguerite and Canadian John Relyea as Méphistophélès.
