Rise Against is a melodic hardcore band from Chicago, Illinois, USA, consisting of four members, vocalist/guitarist Tim McIlrath, guitarists Joe Principe and Zach Blair and drummer Brandon Barnes. This band is a potent mix of youth crew style, metal edge, melodic energy and hardcore pride. Their message, though stated a thousand times before, comes off as neither cheesy nor insincere.
