Ring Cycle: Part 1+2 October 15, 2010

The Bushwick Starr and award winning collaborative theater ensemble, Performance Lab 115, team up to present this provocative adaptation of Wagner's iconic 'Ring Cycle'. The company re-situates the mythic opera in the familiar world of 1980s Americana. Part 1 re-casts Wagner's Norse gods as professional wrestlers pumped up on rock & roll and steroids on a mission for power and glory. Part 2 takes a turn into down and out 1980s America: an era in which for some, trickle-down economics meant economic drought.
