Renowned Mexican writer Carlos Fuentes will present a free lecture on “Mexico in a Nutshell,” featuring a panoramic vision concentrated on Mexico (culture, history, society, etc.) from the pre-Hispanic epoch to the present. The lecture is scheduled for Friday, October 30, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, with a book signing afterward. His lecture will be held at the UNM Student Union Building (SUB) in the Ballroom located on the main floor. The UNM SUB is located on the UNM campus just two blocks north of the UNM Bookstore. Parking is available for $1.75 per hour on a first-come, first-served basis in the UNM Cornell Parking Structure located next to Popejoy Hall on Redondo just east of Stanford.
