Reno Tahoe Comedy presents Fox Klein June 18, 2011

Reno Tahoe Comedy presents the Biggest Little Comedy Show at the Pioneer Underground located next to the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts at 100 South Virginia, St., Reno, NV. We will have three amazing shows this weekend! The first show is on Friday at 8:00pm and we’ll have two shows on Saturday: the first is at 8:00pm and the second is an ‘R’ rated show at 10:00pm. Reno Tahoe Comedy offers a full bar and no drink minimum. Suggested age: 16 and over with parental guidance.

Reno Tahoe Comedy is proud to announce that all three shows are headlined by comedian Fox Klein. Eight years ago, Australian comedian Fox Klein won the annual Search for a Funny Bone stand up comedy competition and hasn't looked back since. Headlining and supporting some of Australia’s biggest names both nationally and internationally, Fox is a regular in all the top venues back in his home country. Fox's energetic and engaging style of universal comedy has firmly established him as an audience favorite. His blend of storytelling and intricate weaving of topics makes Fox one of the most sought after comedians working today. Fox Klein is a versatile performer; his charismatic and friendly style never fails to secure him a firm and loyal fan base wherever he plays.

Joining Fox as our host on Friday is Layne La Vanway with his blend of magical comedy. Layne has now been doing magic for five years and was recently a finalist on Aura's got Talent in 2010. He’s a performer at heart, having done theater in high school and community theater afterward. Layne loves meeting new people and presenting them with a moment of astonishment, something that takes them back to the wonder of childhood.

Hosting on Saturday night is comedian, Tony D’Andrea. Tony’s act is a whirlwind tour of thoughts and impressions with stops at platforms even D'Andrea doesn't realize are on the itinerary. He's from the old school where material comes from creativity and talent, not requiring shock value to sustain it. And while, the jokes, skits and gags can come at you from all angles, they can also be delivered subtly. Borrowing from masters like Jack Benny, D'Andrea can, when he feels it's needed, make people laugh without saying a word.
