Reno Tahoe Comedy is hosting a fundraiser for Procter R. Hug High School. The goal is to contribute funds toward much needed improvements to the gymnasium. This fundraiser has little to do with cookie dough and everything to do with comedy and cold beer! Join us Saturday, June 4th at 6:00pm at the Pioneer Underground located at 100 South Virginia St. in Reno.

Procter R. Hug High School is the only school in the history of Nevada to be rated as a Title I school. What this means, is that 80% of the students at Hug live below the poverty line and could use your help!

Thankfully, help is on the way (and it’s going to be funny!). For the $20 price of admission, you will be treated to three excellent comedic performances. Headlining the show is comedian Ron Osbourne. Ron is the “King of Improv” and can make any crowd laugh with his hilarious blend of stand-up comedy and improv. Ron is a 25 year comedy veteran, a past winner of the Seattle International Comedy Competition, appeared in over 100 commercials and has trained in improv with the world famous Groundlings in L.A. He's performed for our troops overseas, on TV, radio and the internet, and with stars like Drew Carey, Ron White, Sam Kinison and Joan Jett. Joining Ron as our featured comedian is Bethany Therese. Bethany’s unique, upbeat comedic style incorporates all aspects of performing. Bethany was also named one of California’s Funniest Females and was recently named one of the 3 Funniest People in the OC. Alongside Ron and Bethany will be your host, Rik D. Rik’s oddball observations range from being a Native Nevadan to teaching high school students, marriage, and parenting. Rik was a finalist in last summer's Sparks Got Talent competition and has been seen loitering around open mics for the last couple years. Rik lives in Sparks, NV with his wife and three and a half children (she's pregnant, again...).
