Remington College Campuses in Houston Offer Complimentary Salon Services for Students Headed to Prom April 30, 2010

High school students want to look their best on prom night, but not everyone can afford the cost of a trip to the salon. That’s why Remington College-Houston Campus, Remington College-Houston Southeast Campus and Remington College-North Houston Campus are offering complimentary salon services for local high school students.

The event is called Prom Night Makeover. Staff and students in the Remington College Cosmetology Program are offering several complimentary services, including:

• Haircuts
• Updos
• Manicures
• Pedicures
• Makeup

High School students in the Webster area can visit The Salon at Remington located at the Remington College-Houston Southeast campus from May 1st through May 8th. Appointments are recommended and can be made by calling 281-554-1790.

High School students in the West Chase area can visit The Salon at Remington located at the Remington College-Houston campus from May 7th through May 15th. Appointments are recommended and can be made by calling 281-597-1000.

High School students in the Greenspoint area can visit The Salon at Remington located at the Remington College-North Houston campus from May 7th through May 15th. Appointments are recommended and can be made by calling 281-885-4490.

“All students deserve to have a memorable prom night, and we’re happy to donate our services to make sure they look and feel their best,” said Lashundia Brooks, Remington College-Houston Campus President.

Remington College’s Cosmetology program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training in The Salon at Remington, which allows students to work with real clients.

All Prom Night Makeover services will be done in the Cosmetology Departments on each campus.

Remington College-Houston Campus is located at 3110 Hayes Road, Suite 380 in Houston.

Remington College-Houston Southeast Campus is located at 20985 Interstate 45 South in Webster.

Remington College-North Houston Campus is located at 11310 Greens Crossing Suite 300 in Houston.
