Reggae Carifest celebrates the music, food, artistry, the people of the Caribbean. A phenomenal success since its inception in 1998, Reggae Carifest has been become the biggest one-day show in North America. Having metamorphosed from a brash teenage phenomenon into a self assured deejay and singer, Buju Banton's fusion of traditional roots rock, contemporary R&B and dancehall DJ'ing have earned him a prophet like status in his Jamaican homeland. Third World has combined reggae with other forms of music, from R&B and pop to classical and African rhythms, becoming one of the most enduring and popular Jamaican bands in the world. Lucky Dube is a South African reggae musician from Johannesburg.
