Reedwood presents "Paradise Now" movie FREE April 13, 2007

Reedwood Friends Church Peace and Justice Committee presents:

"PARADISE NOW"

In the next 36 hours, two childhood friends may do the unthinkable.

Shot on location in both Palestine and Israel, PARADISE NOW is an enthralling drama about the possible motivations and actions of two suicide bombers.

This Oscar-nominated film for best foreign movie depicts the dilemma of two suicide bombers who were assigned to the job, but were both hesitant to do what they were asked to do. The film is a rare voice for peace and moderation in the Middle East.

This film is a part of an ongoing film series @ Reedwood called "Friday Films with Friends". All films begin @ 7pm in Reedwood's Sanctuary (2901 SE Steele Street Portland, OR 97202).
