REAP Calgary presents Shopping Responsibly June 24, 2008

Join us in West Springs/Cougar Ridge each Tuesday in June to
learn about great local resources that will turn your home a shade
greener. Each workshop covers a different topic and comes with a
toolkit of useful, local and sustainable products that will allow you to
take action in your home immediately.

Green is the new black! Learn where and how to buy responsible
fashion and other consumer goods. Know what to look for and how
to assess the true cost of a product, including the social,
environmental and economic consequences. We will focus on
fashion and cosmetics (for men and women) with a fashion
show hosted by Riva’s Eco Store and SwizzleSticks SalonSpa.

Toolkit includes free haircut and make-up consultation from
SwizzleSticks SalonSpa, free infrared sauna session from Prema
Sai Wholistic Living, tour and tasting for two at Big Rock Brewery,
and a tin of fair trade, organic tea from Verde Tea. Retail value $180.
