Ready, Set, Tomato! - Master Gardeners of Santa Clara County, 2-3:30 p.m. Sunnyvale Public Library, 665 W. Olive Ave. Every year seems to be the “best tomato year ever” for some people and for others it’s the worst. Learn what you need to know to grow tomatoes successfully every year. Learn about seeding, transplanting, taking care of the plants and dealing with problems. Discuss some of the challenges faced in 2010 and ways to handle them.
