Reading & Workshop: Hoa Nguyen March 14, 2008

Born in 1967 just outside of Saigon, Hoa Nguyen was raised in the DC area and attended the Poetics program at New College in San Francisco. She currently lives in Austin, Texas where she leads creative writing workshops. With her partner the poet Dale Smith, she edits the journal and book imprint Skanky Possum and curates a monthly reading series. Her publications include 'Your Ancient See Through' (subpress) and 'Red Juice' (effing). A full-length collection is forthcoming this year from Hot Whiskey Press.
