Barbara Dowd Wright will be reading from and signing copies of her novel, An Awakening Heart: A Novel of the Moravians in Early America.

Going through boxes that belonged to her deceased great-aunt, Wright discovered the diaries of her great-great-grandmother, who was born in 1811 in Bethlehem. From these journals, she was inspired to write this fascinating novel of Moravian life in early America based on actual events in 17th- and 18th-century Bethlehem and Nazareth.
