The Satyajit Ray Society plans a weeklong (3 and 5-10 May 2009) Satyajit Ray Festival, Ray Today, at Kolkata’s Birla Academy of Art & Culture and Star, one of the best-known city theatres, to mark the 88th birth anniversary of the man who became a legend in his own lifetime.
