Ray of Light Theatre is one of San Francisco's leading musical theatre companies, whose productions like "Seussical", "Honk" and "Grease" have reached broad audiences and received critical acclaim.

This summer, Ray of Light invites your child to be part of an intensive two-week program to develop, rehearse and perform a musical theatre production. ROLT Jr. camp is open to kids entering grades 3-9. Campers will learn about all aspects of producing a musical and other theater arts including: acting, singing, dancing, set design, costume design, lights / sound, props, stage management, theater games, and much more. This year's show is "The Music Man Jr.", featuring well known songs such as "Seventy-Six Trombones", "Gary Indiana", "Til there Was You", and many more! Full-day and half-day sessions are still available.

Staff:
Erin Cole (co-director) returns to ROLT Jr. for her third straight year. She has trained for 20 years with Berle Davis at Dance Arts Center, and has choreographed throughout the Bay Area, including her critically acclaimed choreography for Grease, BAT BOY: THE MUSICAL (2005) and Seussical the Musical for ROLT.

Eli Newsom (co-director) currently serves as Artistic Director of Ray of Light Theatre, succeeding founder Shane Ray. He has worked as an actor and director in the Bay Area for 10+ years. He was a director of the ROLT Jr. summer camp last year, and is pleased to be returning for this year's camp.

DaRon Lamar Williams (co-director) has appeared in several ROLT productions as an actor, and is currently living in NYC pursuing a career in musical theater and just finished a successful run of Dreamgirls at the Gateway Playhouse in Long Island New York. ROLT productions include "Songs For A New World", "New Year's Eve Gala", A Little Bit in Love and both years of "Bat Boy the Musical".
