Don't need no stinkin' amplifiers, man, to make a hard, intelligent sound, and next week (rawk on wood), Christopher Payne-Taylor will be doing just that in NYC. Rawkin' it nu-acoustic skool, he'll be at the Trash Bar support of his latest single, Evangelista.

Co-founder of first generation punk band, Karyn Satin & the Bedsheets, Payne-Taylor mixes wily love 'n' lust riffs like, "Like A Felony," and social semaphors like "Cry Out," with starkly reverent anthems like "Highway of Hometown Heroes." at a decibel level where you can drink it in slowly enough to really hear it when he plays.

Protean Collective, Matty Z and the Brawlers featured.
