214 Sullivan St.
New York City, New York 10012

The excellent acoustics and intimate feel of the Sullivan Room is just right to nab a great recording of Piamenta's spiritually inspired guitar playing. The venue is taper friendly and so is the band. Although, Piamenta is notorious for lugging his vintage 1970-something original mesa boogy amp to his shows and not plugging in to the soundboard. Makes for a hell of a sound but can be a little difficult to balance the sound post-production. Also performing is Scott Metzger, who you may know from a little project named PARTICLE!!!! He has jammed with Piamenta before at the Ace of Clubs 7-6-06. Opening the night with middle-eastern tinged dirty rock is "Rashanim" a VERY talented power trio from NY and elsewhere. This promises to be an excellent show with some other special guests rumoured to show up....
