Rappelling in waterfalls at San Antonio September 5, 2009

Intermediate level canyoneering.

This is an unguided canyoneering event. This is not a class. This is a T-Shirt event - the event cost is $25 for the new and cool SCOA T-shirt.

Minimum skill set:
[1] have been on three canyoneering trips before, and [2] can rig yourself up for the SINGLE rope rappel using HIGH friction mode, and [3] rig up a prusik backup, and [4] can run the course without any supervision.

This event is not a class and is an unguided event. There will be no top ropes set up and most if not all the raps will be single rope raps. Must have: helmet, prusik, harness, 2 lockers, rappel device with high friction mode, leash, backpack, water and wet gear. YOU WILL BE UNDERNEATH A VERY COLD WATERFALL!
