Randy Weston's African Rhythmstrio March 1, 2009

In 2004, Randy Weston was given the Living Legend Jazz Award by the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation. In 2001, Weston was given the Jazz Master Award by National Endowment for the Arts. Down Beat magazine has chosen Weston as the "Composer of the Year" in 1994, 1996 and 1999. Weston was nominated for Grammy Awards in 1993 and 1994.
