Step back to the "Days of the Dons," when Rancho Los Cerritos was headquarters of Don Juan Temple's prosperous cattle ranch, and Doña Rafaela Cota arranged the festivities that followed the annual roundup of cattle.

Handsome vaqueros and beautiful señoritas will again enjoy the music and food of early California, while children will explore the crafts, games and activities that built southern California's cattle empire.

Visitors will spend a delightful afternoon participating in period activities such as bull roping, butter churning, Mexican-era games and crafts designed especially for the children.

Period-inspired merchandise and books will be on sale at the gift shop for those who wish to take home a souvenir. Food and snacks can also be purchased at a nominal fee.
