On April 20, 1929, Julia Morgan's design of the Riverside Art Building was realized. Since then, the building was home of the Riverside YWCA and the Riverside Art Museum. After 50,000 visitors a year, countless exhibits and adult education programs, the building has earned a little R&R (respect & renovation). We will be celebrating the building's 80th year with an exciting evening of music, wine tasting, delectable goodies from the Riverside Fine Dining Group, and a chance to win a two-day stay in a Cambria cottage with a tour of Hearst Castle. The proceeds from the party will be put back into the building so that it can be enjoyed by future generations.
