Rally/Protest - International Anti Seal Hunt Day March 15, 2008

At Noon on March 15th, rallies and demos will be held worldwide to protest the upcoming Canadian commercial seal hunt. Canada has been clubbing about a quarter million seals for their fur every year. 98% of the seals who will be hunted are under 12 weeks old. Many will be skinned alive while fully conscious.
This an an invitation to all individuals, local groups and organizations to join this event and speak out against this shameful and barbaric hunt.
People 4 Animals Calgary will supply some placards and handouts, but you can also bring your own. Looking forward to seeing you all on March 15th!
