6:15 PM – 6:30 PM – Harp Music by Diana Stork

6:30 PM – 6:33 PM - Welcome by Emcee and introduction of Robert Manning.

6:33 PM – 6:38 PM – Robert Manning shares about the Raise Hell for Molly Ivins Campaign.

6:38 PM – 6:40 PM – Emcee introduces the Interfaith Ceremony with Christian, Jewish, and
Muslim spiritual leaders (Participants – Sister Pamela Clare; A Rabbi;
and a Muslim Spiritual Leader).

6:40 PM – 6:55 PM - Interfaith Ceremony with three participants speaking for 5 minutes each.

6:55 PM – 7:01 PM – Veterans Village (Nadia McCaffrey) & Swords to Ploughshares-3 min. each.

7:01 PM – 7:03 PM - Emcee introduces the Meditation in seats or Labyrinth Walk for Peace to be
led by Jeff Heaton (Lafayette Crosses) encouraging everyone to participate.

7:03 PM – 7:23 PM - Participants either Meditate Walking the Labyrinth or Meditate in seats.

7:23PM – 7:25 PM - Emcee introduces Choir (Possible Choirs-Glide Ensemble, Oakland
Interfaith Choir, Artfest Choir)

7:25 PM – 7:37 PM - Choir Performs.

7:37 PM – 7:38 PM - Emcee announces a 15 minute break.

7:38 PM – 7:53 PM - Break

7:53 PM – 7:55 PM - Emcee introduces Tributes to Molly Ivins (well known personalities
participate by means of audio (Netcast) and written Blogs.) It is suggested
there be four participants in the audio portion for 5 minutes each.

7:55 PM – 8:20 PM - Tributes to Molly Ivins.

8:20 PM – 8:22 PM - Emcee introduces music performance – J.C. Flyer Band.

8:22 PM – 8:42 PM - Band Plays.

8:42 PM – 8:44 PM - Emcee introduces the Molly Ivins Retrospective.

8:44 PM – 8:51 PM - Retrospective projected on large screen.

8:51 PM – 8:54 PM - Emcee introduces the judges of "The Ballad of Molly Ivins" Songwriting
Contest. Judges: COUNTRY JOE McDONALD, RONNIE GILBERT,
UTAH PHILLIPS, KINKY FRIEDMAN, CHARLOTTE McCANN
(publisher of The Texas Observer), and DAVID RICHARDS (attorney and
author – "Once Upon A Time In Texas.)

8:54 PM – 8:57 PM - Judges announce the winner of the Songwriting Contest.

8:57 PM – 9:01 PM - Judges present award to winner of the Songwriting Contest and recipient
gives a two minute acceptance speech.

9:01 PM – 9:06 PM - Winning Song is projected on large screen.

9:06 PM – 9:08 PM - Emcee introduces poets. (suggested poets include Iraq Veteran or Veterans
For Peace and a poet against war.)

9:08 PM – 9:16 PM - Poets read.

9:16 PM – 9:18 PM - Emcee introduces Pledge to Molly Ivins.

9:18 PM – 9:29 PM - Participants take Molly Ivins Pledge.

9:29 PM – 9:30 PM - Emcee closes evening's program
