Rainwater Catchment Workshop October 27, 2007

Join Russ Romas, resident building-with-junk-wizard and educator, at TLC
farm for a half-day, rainwater harvesting workshop! This entry level
experience will walk you through the process of setting up your existing
downspouts to catch and utilize rainwater for your gardens. Come learn
about:

- Rain-barrels
- Basic plumbing
- Planning and design processes
- Mechanical filtration (leaves and needles)
- Overflow
- Mosquito breeding
- Having a hoot of a good time while learning!
