Attention mystery fans --- Attention train fans--- Las Cruces, NM – Mystery fans and train fans alike are invited to join the Rail Readers Book club. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month to discuss a train mystery book. On October 8 we will discuss Lilian Jackson Braun’s “The Cat Who Blew the Whistle”.

Floyd Trevelyan, president of the credit union, loves trains. When he disappears, along with a large amount of Lumbertown Credit Union’s money, some people suspect he has embezzled the funds. However, Koko and Yum Yum, two very intelligent Siamese cats, know what really happened, and they leave clues for their human to interpret. But is Qwilleran sharp enough to discern their meaning? With the help of Celia Robinson and the cats, Qwilleran uncovers the truth behind the missing man and money.
