At long last the Portland Premiere of the award winning, critically praised film “RAGE” is here. This screening is not just a premiere it is also a showcase event hosted by The Northwest Film Center. RAGE was selected for the Northwest Film Center’s “Tracking Program”, which is dedicated to the elevation and exposure of local artist and their work, which exhibits great potential and is deserving of a wider audience. Directed by local filmmaker Christopher R. Witherspoon and inspired by Steven Spielberg’s film classic “DUEL”, RAGE tells the story of a man who unknowingly provokes the wrath of a dark, mysterious, homicidal motorcyclist and must fight for his very life. Chris Alexander, Editor-in-Chief of the widely respected horror magazine “FANGORIA” said - “RAGE is really, really good - a tight, taut indie thriller with enough action, suspense and intrigue to fill three movies.” “RAGE is a kick-ass, sharply executed riff on DUEL”.

50% of the proceeds from the screening will be donated to: COMMUNITY VISION, INC.: www.cvision.org

Christopher is a strong believer that there is a budding “Sub Popesque” independent film-scene that is taking root here in Portland and that every opportunity to foster that should be done so… come out and support one of your own. This will also be a great opportunity to socialize and network with film backer$ and fellow filmmakers. Also, everyone is invite to come a party afterwards at The Nines Portland Hotel: www.thenines.com
