Blending hip hop, hard rock, punk and funk as well as their explicit revolutionary socialist philosophy and lyrics, Rage Against the Machine became one of the most influential political bands in music. Since spliting up in 2000, original members Tom Morello, Zack de la Rocha, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk reunited at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival earlier in 2007, then for four stops on the Rock the Bells tour. Equal parts early '70s hard rock and late '70s punk, Queens of the Stone Age are one of the leading bands of the stoner rock movement.
